Frequently asked questions

Everything tenants, landlords, and agencies need to know about Clairly reports, rental payment history, privacy, and sharing.

General questions

No. The dossier remains essential. Clairly adds a complementary layer structured rent payment history that documents alone cannot show.

Tenant questions

No. Your dossier still matters and landlords will still ask for it. Clairly adds a structured payment record alongside it something the dossier usually cannot show on its own.

Landlord questions

You link the account your rent is paid into, once, through open banking. After that Clairly recognises each rent payment as it lands, files it against the matching tenancy, and marks it paid, late, or pending. The link only reads incoming activity, so you get a current picture without opening a statement, and it grows more accurate the more rent it sees for a tenancy.

Agency questions

No. Clairly adds sourced payment history alongside income, guarantees, and supporting documents. Your team keeps its existing process and makes the decision.

Trust & Security questions

No. Clairly makes no decision and never ranks applicants. A landlord or agency reads the report alongside the rest of the dossier and decides themselves.
